Succession and Transition Planning Workshop
Many of arts organizations are challenged by questions of future leadership and supporting transitions to enable future sustainability and stability. Planning for succession and leadership transition is not a singular event, but one of many practices organizations can undertake over time to enable greater resilience, relevance and empowered transformation.
The Rozsa Foundation, Calgary Arts Development and Calgary Foundation are presenting a workshop led by Jennifer DeDominicis of Distill Consulting that is intended to help arts organizations proactively develop a basic framework for planning and integrating ongoing practices to design for transitions. Hear from other organizations undertaking succession/transition planning and learn about their experiences.
This is an opportunity to identify key considerations adapted to your context, map and benchmark competencies and resources for development and knowledge transfer, and generate a draft sequence that you can take back to your organization to prototype and test.
