With you with Pride seeks artists

With you with Pride (formerly Pride Marches On) is a temporary art installation, presented by Rogers together with Shaw in partnership with Calgary Pride, The City of Calgary and Calgary Arts Development, that commissions artists to create an art walk in Memorial Park in celebration of Calgary Pride.

For the fourth year in a row, four 2SLGBTQ+ or BIPOC artists or artist teams with public art experience will have the opportunity to create temporary art mural installations (one mural per artist/artist team) at the four corner entrances to Memorial Park. A rainbow path will be applied along the perimeter of the park to connect the four murals.

This call is open to established and emerging artists and artist teams, especially in the 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC artist communities. Applicants must have mural painting experience.

The deadline for submissions is June 28, 2023 and the payment is $10,000 per mural.
