Barb Briggs

Barb is a photographer and filmmaker with a focus on narrative storytelling. In her photography, she attempts to capture moments in time and place, including images of found and temporary art. From the fleeting moments of nature to the shift of a shadow on a building, Barb searches for those little details that may otherwise be missed.

We acknowledge that the land we gather on, Mohkinsstsis, is the ancestral territory of the Siksikaitsitapi — the Blackfoot people — comprising the Siksika, Kainai and Piikani Nations, as well as Treaty 7 signatories, the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Îyârhe Nakoda Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney First Nations.
