Deborah Catton
Deborah is a Canadian Visual Artist working in the mediums of painting, and fibre arts. She holds a Double Major BFA in Drawing and Photography. She has completed four artist residencies, three have been international, in Iceland, France, and Spain and one in Ottawa, Canada. She has exhibited throughout Canada and internationally in London, Edinburgh and Madrid. Her body of work spans more than 30 years and is included in numerous public and private collections globally.
Her paintings explore everyday observations with an abstracted view. They consist of vibrant colors, layering and texture. Her fibre work consists of three dimensional sculptural pieces hand made with wool.
