Lori Clipperton
In June 2014, I received my BFA with distinction from the University of Calgary. Since U of C graduation I have been working out of my home studio creating art and teaching art. I have been an “Active” member of the Canadian Federation of Artists since 2016. I work primarily with acrylics, alcohol ink and mixed media. I love variety, it is a must in my art practice.
I am currently integrating conceptual components to work that is somewhat representational. My themes range from historical and mystical landscapes/oceanscapes to emotional and relational quips. Recent titles of my work are: “Diverging”, “Harmony and Understanding”, “Flowscape with Inks”, “Feeling Stuck… etc… Abstract thought and life’s metaphors have my interest.
