Using acrylic paint, I paint bold, flowing lines to capture the movement in the landscape, mostly featuring scenes from my hiking and camping adventures with my family. Woven between the paint lines are the stories that offer insights into why these places are meaningful and what it took to get there, revealing glimpses into some of the vulnerable aspects of living with chronic illness, encouraging the viewer to remember that there is more to everybody’s story than is outwardly visible.
