Muditha Askin
I am an artist who has a degree in fine arts as well as a diploma in 3D modeling animation art and design. At the moment I am working as an educational assistant/lab assistant/Instructor in Centre for Entertainment Art at Bow Valley College.
As an artist, I always love to help people whether it’s a student or community member or someone who needs help in understanding art, to do art or to use it as a healing tool through volunteering and any way that I can. I feel happy knowing that I helped someone. Over the years I tried many ways to engage with the Calgary Arts community by doing this but I guess I was never able to get into the right path with any of the programs that Calgary Arts development offers for funding or programs. So I thought of applying for this Utility box painting project to see if I would be able to get one.
