Best described as Sesame Street meets Diana Krall, Music with Mandy is led by Mandy Morris, a jazz vocalist and educator with over a decade of experience working with and performing for children.
Music with Mandy wants kids to embrace – and bop to – messages of self-love and inclusion with music from its WCMA and YYC Music Award nominated record, From My Head to My Toes. A distillation of kindness-based teaching and launchpad for jazz appreciation, Music with Mandy encourages young audience members to practice respect and empathy with one another through easy-on-the-ears jazz tunes.
In 2024, Music with Mandy is going to release their third studio album, My Friends which is a danceable collection of music inspired by friendship, community and love.
Music with Mandy has toured throughout Western Canada with highlight performances in Fernie Culture Days, the Fall Festival at the red River Ex, Hay Day Festival, Central Alberta’s Children’s Festival and at the National Music Centre.
