Paper Places

Hello, bonjour! I’m Alice, a French artist living in Calgary, Canada.

I studied applied arts and have an industrial design master’s degree. In August 2023, I started sharing my watercolour work online under the name Paper Places.

Like our beautiful city, I am multicultural! I lived in five countries: France, Japan, Germany, the US, and now Canada. These various places shaped me, and I want to share them while learning about new ones.

Feature project: The Sunnyside series

When moving here, I fell in love with Sunnyside and its charming architecture. I painted one Sunnyside house a day for 56 days! Discover this project on my Instagram @paperplaces_.
