Sage Theatre
Our productions take audiences on an intimate theatrical journey that challenges preconceptions of self and society. We accomplish this by engaging local artists and stakeholders in our creative process, telling stories from the Canadian and international canon.
Our projects are intentionally eclectic and unique. This allows us to be bold in the choices of our content and those that we work with. It also ensures that our focus can remain connected to the current cultural and emotional environment.
We also produce the IGNITE! Festival of Emerging Artists, producing the work of emerging artists in a variety of disciplines while also connecting them to professional or established practitioners of their craft. This also contributes to our ecosystem of artists, specifically our local one.
