Northern Reflections Window Exhibition

Second year features more artists, more animators, and more window magic

This holiday season be sure to join Buds Collective for the opportunity to engage with an amazing immersive art experience.

The Northern Reflections Window Exhibition turns Calgary into an interactive urban art-walk for its second year. With just a smartphone and the free app AUGLE, you can bring each window to life and see the augmented reality hidden within.

Calgary Arts Development and Trico Changemakers Studio collaborated with local artist Barbara Amos and animator Mike Hooves for one part of this unique and engaging experience. Swing by the Bisset School of Business at Mount Royal University (4825 Mount Royal Circle SW) from November 13 to December 31, 2018 to see the finished piece.

Other stops include windows at the TELUS Convention Centre, One18 Empire, the East Village Experience Centre, Cococo Chocolatiers, and more. Bring a loved one and a hot beverage to tour the exhibition and you’ve got a perfect way to celebrate the winter season.
