February 1, 2021 Application Assistance This document has been updated as of February 1, 2021. Download the Application Assistance Document for the Original Peoples Investment Program as a PDF We recognize that our granting programs create barriers to access for many artists who are interested in applying. Our programs are written in English, shared online and require applicants to submit online applications in English. This creates technological, linguistic, communication, and cultural barriers, to name a few. In recognition of these barriers to access, eligible applicants can request assistance to help alleviate some of the costs associated with preparing and submitting a grant application. Who can Request Assistance?Individuals (or the primary contact for a collective) who self-identify as: An artist who is Deaf, hard of hearing, has a disability or is living with a mental illness. An artist facing language, geographic, or cultural barriers. Requests must be received at least two to four weeks before you plan to submit your application, which means no later than April 5, 2021 for the Original Peoples Investment Program. To request assistance please contact Sable Sweetgrass, Specialist, Indigenous Programs at firstname.lastname@example.org or 403.264.5330 ext. 220.
