Suggestions for Public Art in Calgary?

Do you have a brilliant idea for public art that you’d like to see in our city? We invite you to share your vision and help shape Calgary’s cultural landscape!

Calgary Arts Development values the power of grassroots ideas from our communities and fellow Calgarians. We want to hear your idea for a public art project so we can create opportunities for artists that reflect the rich diversity of the city. Fill out the form below to submit your idea.

Submitted proposals are reviewed at the end of every quarter. Staff will determine if the proposal aligns with the vision of Calgary Arts Development and if it is feasible to fund within that budget cycle. You will be notified of the results of this review and whether your proposal was accepted or declined. Proposed projects and activities must start after notification of results, not before, to be considered for funding. Completed projects will not be considered.
