Now Touring: Public Art Billboards

The Program

Now Touring: Public Art Billboards shines a spotlight on artwork from Calgary’s Public Art Collection by making it part of people’s daily commutes. This program started in December 2023 and features images of artworks on billboards across the city. For each series, different works from the City of Calgary Public Art Collection are selected by a local curator. The majority of these works are currently in storage and not on display to the public. Many of the billboards are located in parts of the city that are not home to permanent public art installations.
