Call to Artists: Northeast Mini Galleries Program
We are seeking applications for the Northeast Mini Galleries Public Art Program 2026 – 2027. This program is open to artists at any stage of their career who live in Calgary and work in two-dimensional or three-dimensional media.
The mini galleries feature three exhibitions involving 30 artists throughout the year — each exhibition showcases 10 local artists, selected by a local curator, for four months. Artists are encouraged to submit existing artworks that share stories of culture, community and place. Artists with connections to northeast Calgary are encouraged to share this in their application.
Selected artists will be paid $1,075 (not including GST) for participation.
Deadline to apply is March 24, 2026 at 4:30pm MT.
Information Session
The online information session is open to anyone interested in applying and will provide an overview of the program and application process, followed by a brief Q+A.
