Community-Run Microgrant Program Open House
Are you interested in applying to the Community-Run Microgrant Program for 2023? Drop in to our online open house on Friday, October 20, 2023 any time between 9 – 10:30am. This is a chance to ask any questions you have as well as to hear responses to questions from other artists about the program goal, submission requirements and the process to apply.
Recognizing that public art opportunities can come from grassroots ideas that are initiated and led by communities, Calgary Arts Development is inviting community-run organizations in Calgary/Mohkinsstsis to apply for funding to hire local artists and create public art in their neighbourhoods. Communities are required to team up with local artists at any level of experience to explore any form of public art in any part of the city. The deadline to apply for this program is November 3, 2023.
For security reasons, we ask that folks register in advance. The Zoom link will be provided upon registration. Registering for this session confirms you agree to our group agreements for this event. Be sure to read the document before signing up.
