Northeast Mini Galleries Artwork Drop-in Q&A Session

Are you interested in applying to show your artwork as part of our Northeast Mini Galleries Artwork program? Artists are invited to chat with our project lead, ask questions and learn more about the application process at one of two upcoming online drop-in sessions on April 26 and May 3, 2024.

The Northeast Mini Galleries showcase 36 local artists, selected by three local art curators. This is an opportunity for artists of all levels who have a strong connection to northeast Calgary/Mohkinsstsis to show existing, original two-dimensional or three-dimensional artwork that demonstrates how being part of a community impacts your everyday life through shared values, trust and care.

Artists are welcome to log in and join at any time during these Zoom sessions to ask project lead Tiffany Wollman questions about the program, and to listen to other artists’ questions. Folks can stay for as long as or as short as they like.

For Zoom security reasons, we ask that folks register before attending. The Zoom link will be provided upon registration. Registering for a session confirms that you agree to our group agreements for this event. Be sure to read the document before signing up.

When:

*ASL interpretation is not currently booked for these drop-in sessions.

If you are an artist with specific access needs or require translation or interpretation services, please let us know and we will arrange to make sure you have all the support and information you need to fairly access the application process. This may require booking a one-on-one session with us instead.

These sessions will not be recorded.

Questions? Email tiffany.wollman@calgaryartsdevelopment.com before registering.
