“What is Public Art?” Community Conversation

Join Alcove Centre for the Arts for the next event in a series of community conversations presented in partnership with Calgary Arts Development exploring the topic of public art. Through activations and discussions, What is Public Art? looks at expanding the definition of what we believe is public art.

Come join the Producer’s Live jam and talk led by Nick Wise. The afternoon will begin with a window case activation of a producer’s jam (open to all) followed by a public forum conversation led by Matias Martinez. There will be an open-mic style sign-up at the doors if you would like to formally join the conversation.

Come down and let us know your thoughts and hopes for the future of Calgary’s Public Art!
