Cherie McMaster
Cherie McMaster (she/her/hers) is pleased to be a part of the Calgary Arts Development team in the role of events consultant. She brings a varied list of experience in event and project management, including having been director of activation and operations for the 2009 Grey Cup Festival, operations manager of Alberta House at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, centennial project coordinator of the Calgary Stampede White Hat Round Up in 2012, and marketing and event manager for the IT company, Call Genie. She has spent time in arts administration working for such organizations as One Yellow Rabbit, the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Alberta Theatre Projects, and Wordfest.
When not working in event management, Cherie can be found in the studio working as a voiceover artist for radio and TV commercials, video narration, phone, and computer systems as well as animation projects. She has been known to “tread the boards” in the theatre and musical theatre worlds, as well as don a clown nose.
