Richelle Bear Hat

Richelle Bear Hat (she/her) is a Blackfoot/Dane-zaa Cree artist and a member of Siksika Nation. Over the years she has worked at artist-run centres and arts organizations developing engagement and programming. Previously she was at the National accessArts Centre as Coordinator of Indigenous Programs. Bear Hat is interested in the many ways knowledge can be exchanged within family mentorships and in return translated and honoured. Video, text, sound and paper-based works are the materials she uses as a platform for storytelling.
