Phone: 403.264.5330 ext. 215
Taylor Poitras (she/her/hers) is a grant specialist at Calgary Arts Development, where she works with a team to develop and administer granting programs for artists, collectives, and non-profit arts organizations in the city of Calgary (known as Mohkinsstsis in Blackfoot).
Taylor specializes in running programs for individual artists and collectives and enjoys working closely with artists in the community to learn more about the most authentic way for them to share their stories and support their practices.
Taylor graduated with distinction from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, receiving her bachelor of commerce in tourism marketing and management. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Taylor grew up an avid lover and supporter of the arts, volunteering at local events and festivals such as the Calgary Folk Music Festival for many years.
When Taylor isn’t attending as many art events as humanly possible, she enjoys reading in the only room of her apartment that has natural light (and therefore plants!) and day-dreaming about one day having a big ol’ yard and a big ol’ dog.
