Trico Changemakers Studio

Inspiring coworking spaces, social innovation facilitation, and connections to a local and global network of changemakers, the Trico Changemakers Studio is a one-of-a-kind space at Mount Royal University.

Bringing together changemakers from across disciplines and sectors to address the complex social and environmental issues of our time, its members are social entrepreneurs, innovative non-profits, public sector intrapreneurs, multi-sector collaboratives, artists, activists, and students.

“I think creativity is the ability to connect the dots on different ideas that other people might not see a connection between,” says artist changemaker Katie Pearce. “When you take on more of a full perspective and are able to view the problem from every different angle and be more inclusive with the people that are solving the problem, you’re also able to come up with a solution that fits for everybody.”
