Rozsa Foundation Emerging Arts Manager Award The Rozsa Foundation Emerging Arts Manager Award is a $5,000 cash award intended to recognize and encourage the role of emerging professional arts managers who are dedicating their careers to promoting and supporting the work of Calgary’s artists, arts collectives, and arts organizations. Given the complexity of the challenges they face, the work of these arts managers needs to be as creative as the artists and organizations they work with. The recipient also receives no-cost entry into the Rozsa Arts Management Program (RAMP). This award honours an emerging arts manager in the early stages of their career whose dedication and innovation in their field have elevated the work of the artists or arts organizations they work with. The award is intended to recognize both their accomplishments to date as well as their potential for future impact. The Rozsa Foundation recognizes that management responsibilities are undertaken by individuals at many levels within the arts; nominees do not need to specifically be in a role that carries the title of “manager” to be eligible. The award will be presented to the recipient at an event celebrating the arts in 2023. This award was established by the Rozsa Foundation and Calgary 2012 and is a legacy project of Calgary’s year as a Cultural Capital of Canada.
