It always amazes me how clean lines, simple images, and the beauty of nature can ignite the creative mind. There is something fundamentally elemental and intrinsically beautiful in the creation process. Creativity asks that you show up and give of yourself; to lean in to the liminal spaces, to bring all of yourself, and maybe to discover a part of you that was there all along.
This photo captures a still moment in amongst the busyness; the busyness of creative preparation. Busyness leads to a place of marvellous chaos where creativity is at its most frenetic; and yet my soul is at ease.
