Calgary Arts Emergency Resiliency Fund 2016
The Calgary Arts Emergency Resiliency Fund was created in order to ensure that Calgarians continue to enjoy the benefits of, and have access to, a strong local arts community. Funds invested through this program provided one-time support to arts organizations who have been negatively impacted by the economic downturn and global events.
In 2016, the Calgary Arts Emergency Resiliency Fund provided a total of $1,000,000 to 34 organizations. During this period, 47 organizations applied for a total of $2,509,748 in eligible requests.
