YYC What’s On

This is a simplified, searchable and free events listing highlighting Calgary arts and culture events. You can submit your event to be added to this calendar, and you can also use it to learn about all the other events taking place in the city.

Classifieds

Our user-submitted free classifieds are a great resource for finding and sharing information about job opportunities, open calls for artists, educational workshops, volunteering and more.

CADA Public Art Opportunities

We are responsible for creating new public art opportunities in Calgary and for activating the existing civic art collection. The public art section of our website includes artist calls, residencies and other funding opportunities for emerging and established artists from Calgary and beyond.

CADA Grant Investment Programs

Our grant investment programs support individual artists, artist collectives and arts organizations through funding for operations, projects, professional development and other endeavours.

Available Supports

We have two policies available for anyone who needs help accessing our information or programs. The Accommodation & Accessibility Policy and the Application Assistance Policy. We will also work one-on-one with those who experience barriers to access to help meet their needs.

Spaces Resources

If you are looking for an event space, if you have an event space you want to advertise to others, or you have any questions about managing a space, we can help connect you with the spaces resources you need.

CADA’s Staff

We have a hybrid working environment, so if you want to set up an in-person meeting with one of our staff members, please check in with them first to make sure they are available and in the office. You can find the list of staff members and their contact information on our website.

Community Directory for Artists and Organization

Submit your profile to our community directory for artists, artist collectives and organizations. This is a free service for the Calgary arts community where you can share your information and learn about others in the community.

Assessor Nomination

We welcome artists, arts workers and community members who are interested in serving as assessors for our granting and public art programs. Assessors consider applications, meet as a group with staff, and contribute to thoughtful conversations in their evaluation of applications. You may nominate yourself or someone you know.
