You’re Invited: 2025 Art Bus Celebration
Join us for the official launch of Calgary’s 2025 Art Buses on Wednesday, June 11, 2025!
Following the success of our inaugural 2024 program, we have doubled the number of buses to 14 for 2025 — seven artists/artist collectives were selected to create original artworks, and each artwork is featured on two buses. The 2025 selected artists are: Dr. Hali Heavy Shield, La Güita, Mao and Chris, Moey Blanco, Presley Mills, Sam Hester and Sydonne Warren.
To celebrate the 2025 Art Bus launch, seven Calgary Transit buses featuring the seven unique artworks will be on display along Stephen Avenue. Drop by to see the artworks up close, meet the artists and learn more about the inspiration behind each piece. The celebration will wrap up with some brief remarks from the stage.
The 2025 art buses will be in service across Calgary from June to November 2025, bringing public art into daily commutes and neighbourhoods across the city.
