New exhibition opens at window galleries
A new exhibition is now on display in the window galleries at the Centre Street LRT Platform. Majestic Stride by Fauzan (East Window Space) features large oil paintings inspired by wildlife, nature and architecture. Silent Whispers of Nature by Muhammad Abdallah (West Window Space) showcases acrylic paintings that highlight the beauty and strength of nature in reflective scenes. The exhibition will run until June 2025.
This exhibition is part of the Open Spaces: Windows to a View program featuring works by local artists in partnership with the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation (ICAI). Through this ongoing collaboration, ICAI creates opportunities for immigrant and newcomer artists to share their work with the public. This rotating exhibition series highlights diverse artistic voices while integrating art into Calgary’s transit spaces.
